The 179…
The 179th London Eza
7 December 2025 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Invitation to the 179th London Eza to be held on Sunday the 7th December
In December, as is our yearly tradition, we will hold the London Eza, a gathering to look back on the past year together. On this occasion, Reverend Yuichi Kuniyoshi will give a Dharma talk reflecting on the year’s activities since the 30th Anniversary Ceremony of the Establishment of Three Wheels last December, and share the insights he has gained through his involvement. We very much look forward to hearing his first-ever Dharma talk in English, offered by one of our young priests, aged just twenty-four.
After the Eza, we will also hold our Annual End-of-year party. You are warmly invited to share your musical performances or any special talents you would like to offer. In addition, members of the Students’ Meeting are planning a special project as part of our fundraising efforts for Three Wheels.
We sincerely look forward to your kind participation.
With palms together,
Rev. Kenshin ISHII Director of Three Wheels
Date and Time: Sunday the 7th December at 13:00
Venue: Three Wheels, 55 Carbery Avenue, London, W3 9AB

Pure La…
Pure Land Class at the Buddhist Society
11 December 2025 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
The next Pure Land class will take place on Thursday, 11th December 2025, at 18:30.
Three Wheels would like you to read Great Living in advance, and you to raise some questions of you.
- Assigned Reading:
The section to be read in preparation for the meeting will be Chapter 9 of Great Living. (If you would like to purchase a copy of Great Living, please let us know.)
- Submitting Questions:
If you wish to participate, please read the assigned section and submit any questions via email by 6th November. Along with your question, kindly explain your reasoning or the context behind it.
- Discussion Preparation:
We, the priests of Three Wheels, will review your questions and reasoning beforehand. During the meeting, we will share our thoughts and responses, fostering a deeper dialogue.
We believe this approach will encourage meaningful conversations and enhance the learning experience for all participants. Additionally, it will serve as valuable training for myself and the young priests who began their practice at Three Wheels this year.
We eagerly look forward to receiving your insightful questions, which will contribute to the enrichment of all attendees, including all priests of Three Wheels.
Kind regards,
